The AAIC Executive Board fully supports all public measures to protect the health and welfare of the people and to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. The health and well-being of our participants, partners, and staff have been, and will always be, the major priority.
The Organizing Committee of the 32th AAIC has been closely monitoring the situation and further discussions have taken place within the Executive Board to define the best option to face this global problem.
Because of numerous uncertainties and international attendance, the AAIC Executive Board voted to cancel the face-to-face meeting on Sept 6-10, 2020. The new conference date is 20-24 June 2021.The expanding global outbreak made us feel we should take responsibility and make this decision, which was not taken lightly, but it is important for the health and safety of the participants. We will continue with all activities, preparing session lectures, submitting abstracts, registrations, so that the conference meets all your expectations. If you have already registered, your registration can be transferred to the new dates of the conference or you may request a full refund.
AAIC membership dues however are non-refundable and the AAIC is not responsible for the participants’ hotel and air travel arrangements. All submitted abstracts can be updated to reflect subsequent activities if needed and these will be included in the abstract book, after the peer-review.
If you need further assistance, please contact the organizing secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org. However due to the impact of COVID-19, the secretariat’s response may be delayed. We thank you for your patience.
Stay safe and keep in touch for updates.
